Earthquake Shakes up Southeastern Massachusetts
A 2.4 magnitude earthquake shook Southeastern Massachusetts on Tuesday evening around 6 pm. The epicenter was located near Bliss Corner in Dartmouth. The tremors were felt in New Bedford, Fairhaven, Acushnet, Rochester, and Mattapoisett. Many reported feeling a loud boom as if their furnace had exploded. Most people wondered what it was.
